The jumbo bowler, who bowed out of the Test cricket last year, proved he still has that sting to torment the batsmen. After the breakthroughs from Praveen Kumar and mauling by Jesse Ryder, the legendary leg-spinner hurried Rajasthan's fall.
But it was Rahul Dravid who walked off with the 'Man of the Match' trophy for his brilliant knock of 60 runs. He struck a well crafted fifty to take Royal Challengers Bangalore's score to 133 at the loss of 8 wickets.
The former Bangalore captain kept one end intact as wickets kept tumbling from the other end. He took 48 balls to raise his third fifty of the Indian Premier League since its inception, with the help of eight fours and a massive six.
