Ricky Ponting Steps Down As Australianh Captain

Finally Australian Loosing Captain Ricky Ponting steps down. He has taken his decision after quarter-final exit from the World Cu.

Ricky Ponting made the announcement at the SCG and support fellow Michael Clarke to take over the leadership of the team.

Ponting led Australia in 77 Tests of which 48 were wins, the most for any captain. He also captained Australia in a record 228 ODIs and won 164, including two World Cups in 2003 and 2007.
