2009 Qualifiers
The last phase for eligibility for the YONEX-SUNRISE BWF World Championship 2009 ended on 22 June.
The following players in each discipline have qualified and have been confirmed by their Member Association.

- Thursday 16 July 2009 –Seeding report Ver 2 and MQ Report Ver 3
- Tuesday 21 July –Draw for the Championships – concluded at 7.30 pm New Delhi Time
- Thursday 6 August – Practice hall available from this date
- Sunday 9 August – Managers Meeting
- Sunday 9 August - Welcome dinner
- Sunday 16 August – Finals – starting at 1400 local time
